Brushing the Sky and Tree Tops by Jude-Monteleone Brushing the Sky and Tree Tops by Jude-Monteleone
Title: Brushing Brushing the Sky and the Tree Tops

This started out as several panoramic photos I took of this tree and landscape and then later layered the shots to give it a unique touch. After finishing and getting the overall look of the final photo I went through and created alternate versions of the final photo. Each version having it's own certain feel or style.

I also used a combo of programs, which I always enjoy doing.
I repainted the photo 3 times using a digital art painting program and then later played with various filters and effects using photo manipulation or a photo editor with the painted versions in addition to creating alternate versions of the photograph. All of which totaled to 50 alternate versions.

Finally after combining several of these versions I created what looks like an actual painting, which I came to at some point. Even after this point I still kept adding, taking away and tweaking certain elements and parts of this piece to give it this final look, which over all combines more than 20 parts or elements from the 50 different variations that I achieved.

I hope you all Enjoy!

Thanks!

I like that you explain your process. I'm like you: enjoy combining several applications, imagmanipulations, photos, painting, etc. etc. I too usually end up with many versions; usually too many so my hard drive begins to get over crowded. Thank God for external HDs, haha. You may notice some of my deviations are versions of an original. This is what's so great about digital art; we can continue almost for ever playing around with one image.
