Description

I am starting to work with 3D characters, architecture and landscape. In addition I have a few pieces of artwork now that essentially are 3D typography -text/logos/ using the name of some of the series I have created here, using my own name and a few original name or logo ideas for potential stores, products, businesses, etc.
Though this piece involved presets it still took a few hours to do.
First off understanding how the program worked and it's functions.
Once I got some basics down I created the main layout within an hour. This involved one composition attempt that I did not like. The second main part, which involved most of the work was with lighting and color.
So I thought I take a short break from posting 'Turtle Land' to share this with you. More 3-D work will be shown down the road, once I get a few more pieces/ many hours and more experience with working in this medium.
I am currently learning to work with DAZ, Bryce & Blender.
Also downloaded a trail of Maya, which I am looking forward to getting my hands on. Enjoy!

PS: You know the feeling of deja vu happened, as I posted this on my facebook page. I realized in a moment/feeling of ...
'I already did this'. Yeah it happens... a lot.

DAZ 3d is a great program to use, especially as you get more premade items to use in a scene. I think if you add one or two more lights on the guy so that he stands out a bit more would help. This is just my opinion but I find that daz studio 3 is better then daz 4 cuz there new version takes up a lot more processing power.

Maya is also a great tool to use, once you get good at it.
